Neighborhood along South Adams by Bellarmine Prep
Did you know I went to Bellarmine Prep in High School? Little known fact! I had just spent my sophomore year of high school as an exchange student to Italy and my mom decided I was growing up to fast- BAM! Catholic School! Oh the stories I could tell. Ask me sometime.
The only reason I mention this is because right behind Bellarmine is this awesome little hidden neighborhood that people who didn’t attend (or have kids attend) almost never seem to know about. It is the neighborhood along South Adams that goes up the hill from South 19th Street and ends at the school. The neighborhood also borders the Snake Lake Nature reserve, some of the properties even overlook the ravine.
Anyways, it’s a cool little neighborhood to live in- you should drive by. My friend Dawn Medling at Windermere has a house for sale in this little pocket that I wanted to point out to you all. It’s a 1,330 square foot rambler with a big fenced yard. It’s only $155,000 and has been very well taken care of. It has a generator, A/C, and Stainless Steel Appliances.
